Naval + Navel — Mandala Moon Candle Co.

As we prepare to say goodbye to Summer and welcome all of the yummy feels of Fall, let’s embrace the this fabulous candle combo - ‘Safe Harbor + Mimosa Splash’! Orange, the Color of Vitality, has always been a traditional color for Fall, and pairing it with Navy Blue, Color of Peace, adds a fresh twist to the Summer-to-Fall transition. We feature the gemstones Carnelian and Lapis in these two candles, which represent Confidence and Awareness. Again, another winning combo for the new season!

This refreshing color combo can be found in both home decor and in the fashion world. In fact, we think it is fun that Sherwin-Williams has a blue paint color called ‘NAVAL’ (SW 6244) and an orange paint color called ‘NAVEL"‘ (SW 6887), thus the oh-so-clever title our blog, ‘Naval + Navel’. Both of these beautiful colors compliment the natural earth tones and warm colors that come out to play in the Fall . . . pinecones, fall leaves, pumpkins, cool nights and those glorious autumn sunsets.

Of course, we always believe our candles lend themselves to delicious cocktail pairings, and since pears are in season in the Fall, we decided to pair a fabulous “Sparkling Pair Mimosa” with our ‘Mimosa Splash’ candle. YUM! To stay true to our orange and blue combo theme, we added a little fresh blueberry garnish! Voila! A fabulous little Summer to Fall twist to our “Mimosa Splash” candle! (Shhh - we may have snuck in a splash of pear nectar to our candle just for the Fall season).
