57th Annual Salmon Days - Issaquah, WA

Join us at Salmon Days on October 3rd and 4th 2025

10am-6pm

Downtown Issaquah, WA

There will be lots and lots of ARTS, CRAFTS,

FOOD, BBQ, FISHES, BEER, WINE, LOCAL ENTERTAINMENT, & ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDDOS.

Here are some fun facts about the Salmon Days Festival and the fish we adore:

  • In 1970, the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce presented the first Salmon Days festival.

  • The event grew out of the desire to replace the once-popular Labor Day celebration, as well as a need to celebrate one of Issaquah?s greatest treasures ? the annual return of the salmon.

  • In the beginning, the festival attractions included the Kiwanis Salmon BBQ, salmon hatchery displays, an art show, children?s parade led by the late J.P. Patches, Little League football games at Veterans Memorial Field, fire crew competitions, and more.

  • In 1980 the Salmon Days Festival and Grande Parade underwent two major changes that have been credited with altering the course of the festival: Salmon Days became a Seafair-sanctioned event and a festival float was created again.

  • To aid the growth process, merchandise was introduced, the first paid festival director was hired and large ohfishal spawnsors came on board in the ?80s.

  • Today, Salmon Days is still presented by the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce with the goal of providing a community celebration focused on honoring the miraculous return of the salmon.

CrabFest is a free, three day event held in downtown Port Angeles, Washington each October. Our festival is always held the same weekend as Canadian Thanksgiving, which falls on the second Monday of October. CrabFest hosts approximately 12,000 visitors each year, with about 4,000 coming across on the Black Ball Ferry Line from Victoria, British Columbia.

The event is a mostly outdoor festival, held rain or shine - and it can get a little damp on the Washington coast in October! It's a great weekend to pack your favorite rain boots. Festival activities include free live music, a vendor market showcasing 75+ amazing artisan and resale vendors, fun activities for the kids, a live Search and Rescue demonstration (Saturday afternoon, schedule permitting), free tours of a United States Coast Guard boat, beer and wine garden, and of course - food! We sell a festival crab dinner, which is the favorite for visitors, but also host many local restaurants with their best seafood specialties for sale as well as a few food trucks and other outdoor food vendors.

Plum Festival at Copperworks Distilling Company in Kenmore, WA

Join us on Saturday, August 29 for our second-ever Plum Festival at Copperworks Kenmore, sharing our joy of local agriculture and celebrating these plums in a variety of ways. There will be special plum-focused cocktail and kitchen menus, an exciting new chocolate collaboration, local vendor market, and more.

About Copperworks

Named “2018 Distillery of the Year” by the American Distilling Institute.

“The Copperworks distillery is something of a rare phenomenon: a business that is both of the moment and one to keep an eye on in the future.”

— Dom Roskrow, Whiskey America

Copperworks Distilling Company is a craft distillery, tasting room and gift shop located on the waterfront in downtown Seattle. We also have a cocktail bar and tasting room located in the community of Kenmore, WA. We produce small-batch American Single Malt Whiskey, a series of gins, and vodka, all from malted barley.

Copperworks was founded by co-owners/distillers Jason Parker and Micah Nutt—both experienced craft beer makers, who built Copperworks to explore the possibilities of malted barley by distilling high-quality craft beer (without hops) into fine spirits.

Our spirits are distilled in traditional copper stills that were specifically created in Scotland for Copperworks and for the distillation of each individual spirit. We focus on creating distilled spirits that can stand impressively on their own or serve as a delicious base for new and classic cocktails.

Copperworks opened its doors in 2013 offering tastings, tours, and other events focused on enjoying and learning about fine distilled spirits. The company has won numerous local, national and international awards. Copperworks spirits are found on the shelves of bars, restaurants, and retail stores through Washington State.

In 2023 Copperworks opened a cocktail bar and tasting room in Kenmore, WA.
