Experience the Soul of the River
There’s a certain kind of magic that only a river can offer — the way water dances over smooth stones, the way sunlight filters through trees, and the calm hush that settles over you as you sit near its banks. It was in this kind of quiet inspiration that our artist, Bridget, created much of the mandala artwork featured on our candles. Drawn by hand down by the Yuba River in California, these intricate designs carry the soul of the river — its flow, energy, and depth. From these peaceful moments came the vision for one of our most beloved creations: River Days.
A Candle That Reflects a State of Mind
More than just a candle, River Days is an artistic and sensory expression of stillness and clarity. Each hand-poured soy wax candle is infused with intention — both in scent and in spirit. The deep, dark teal hue of the wax reflects the tranquil pools of the Yuba, symbolizing introspection, serenity, and depth. It’s a color that invites you inward — to rest, reflect, and recharge.
A Touch of the Earth: Quartz and River Rock
Inside every River Days candle are two stones: clear quartz and river rock.
Clear quartz is known as the “master healer,” a crystal believed to amplify energy and promote clarity of mind and spirit. It’s often used to support cleansing rituals, enhance meditation, and realign one’s inner compass.
River rock, shaped over time by water’s persistence, is symbolic of groundedness and resilience. These stones remind us of nature’s steady rhythm and the healing that flows when we slow down and reconnect.
Together, these stones aren’t just beautiful additions — they are tokens of restoration, reflection, and natural energy.
A Nod to Our Creative Roots
We created River Days as more than a candle — it’s a tribute to the process behind our craft. Just as the river inspired Bridget’s hand-drawn mandala art, we hope this candle inspires a moment of calm, creativity, and connection in your day. It’s our way of honoring the artistry that lives in nature and the soul-restoring power of quiet moments outdoors.
We Took River Days on an adventure through Oregon this Summer . . . taking in many beautiful rivers along the way!
Light River Days when you need to return to center — when you crave stillness, creativity, or healing. Let the scents transport you. Let the stones ground you. Let the color guide you inward.
River Days is for anyone who’s ever sat by the water and found something of themselves reflected back.
